You have to discover this hugely fascinating novel by Shirley Jackson - an effortless read with poetic descriptions, we unanimously fedback that 'We loved it!' at book club on Friday. Notably, the only other book about which the group has been unanimously positive was another Jackson novel. This haunting illustration for 'We have Always Lived at the Castle' is an arresting match for a book about love, loss, isolation, mind-set, judgement, & the tricks of our perception...
