My embroidery designs for Colcards

Six of my music designs are selling well for card company Colcards - taken from a range of original framed paper embroideries. The original embroideries have been best-sellers for over 10 years and have retailed to many independent retailers and galleries including Vienna Opera House & the Royal Shakespeare Company. It's nice to see them launched as a new range of cards - dare we say the word 'vintage'?! See more of my embroideries here

Steph Holmes - Brighton winner of Anna's award 2012

Stephanie Holmes' work is the worthy winner of the Brighton University Anna-Maria Desogus memorial award 2012. With a strong sense of narrative, her work won for it's combination of underlying personal meaning and important social issues of imprisonment and isolation. I look forward to seeing her work develop over the coming year. A new award is currently in discussions with Stourbridge College at National Diploma level; in Anna's local area we are hoping it will encourage students to pursue their art studies and perhaps even send a few students to the Brighton Uni 3d Materials Practise degree.....

Snippets! #New card designs

Hot off the press! I've really enjoyed developing this new range of x 9 cards with artist Jane Robbins - the range has just been launched by award-winning card publisher The Art File. Jane Robbins aptly named the range 'Snippets' - each image is cleverly created using snippets of newspapers (Jane's favourite source is The Guardian). The cards are already selling fast and you can order Jane Robbins prints for framing at Yellow House Art. I love the Birds Branches print!
